20K and going...

I have broken the 20K point.  This is good.  The stories are connecting nicely.

Made some changes and added some things that I was trying to find a place for.

All in all.  Not bad.

More Progress

So we have an outline.  An order of events, so to speak.  It took a while but things are connecting nicely.  The short stories are blending into each other and the larger story and challenges are now coming into view.  All in all, I am pleased.

Working on it, I swear...

So, I've been busy.  Work, school, blah blah blah.  I have also been busy writing.  Like 17,560 words spread out across 10 short stories that connect together and form a much larger story.  They are starting to form an overall story and some little side stories.  This is the proudest work I've done writing.

My biggest inspiration in this has been the works of Terry Pratchett.  I have learned from the first four books of Discworld that you shouldn't write what you think you can sell, but what you want to write.  That is exactly what I'm doing.

It's getting there.

Where have I been?

So I have been busy.  Work, school, etc.  Things are well.

I have been writing.  At 4,244 words and counting.  The new sci-fi/comedy is progressing and has gotten huge.  So many layers that I have to weave together.  We will get there.

Other than that, trying to read more.

So that Sci-Fi Universe that I mentioned months ago...

Yeah, well it's on its second Composition notebook full of notes.  Multiple short stories, ideas, notes, conversations, names, etc.

It's getting there and gaining some sort of direction.

So hopefully I will update this more.  Hopefully...
