So my experiment of writing on the bus is continuing to be a massive success as far as kick starting my writing. I am now 33 pages into the story which is taking on a life of it's own. The main character seems to be developing into something else with echoes of me and some assumed bits about what America expects from this type of character. I realize this tells you nothing as to what I am writing, but I never like to give details until it actual gets written. Of course, that has yet to fully happen.
I am just glad to be writing and letting it happen when it does.... Not gonna force it.
Rediscovered Netflix on my laptop. Let the mass watching begin...

Moving along.
The story is now 22 pages long in a notebook I carry everywhere. The Bus ride home seems to be the best inspiration I have ever had. Maybe this one will continue onward...
I have realized I have two dream jobs:
1) Published author.
2) Writer for Role-Playing Games. (I'm talking RPG's with old school story lines akin to Final Fantasy. Mainly VI, VII or XII. I could totally create that kind of world.)
Technically I have already created that kind of world some 4 or 5 times over. All unfinished stories in my head. There is a Sci-Fi, a Fantasy, a Post-Apocalyptic and even two strange ones involving a nut-house and the afterlife. The current one doesn't hit any of that. It's more of a dark and brooding semi-horror-esque-ish thing.

Finally writing...
So I am 13 pages into something new and I'm liking it. I started as an experiment based on advice from my awesome sister. I have been riding the bus home and she suggested writing about the people I see... I don't remember the last bus ride because I was writing so much. Hopefully this continues.
Other than that I have become a huge fan of the following bands:

Alt-J
and especially The Head and The Heart
